Hi there, I live in the Ranches and my 2 go to Kings. Journey is absolutely fine now. if i leave a couple of minutes after 7 it takes 15 minutes, if I leave at 7.15 it takes 25 minutes, so I do tend to leave earlier. It will be even easier though when the roadworks have finished, I would certainly recommend it. I lived on the Palm for 5 years and moved this year to the Ranches, I feel so much more central to the rest of Dubai and the kids just love the community.
Also note that the new Kings College (3-18yrs) will be opening in Sept 14, so if you chose to transfer there, its only 5 mins or so from the Ranches. Good luck with the move!
we are moving to Dubai in January and are thinking of living in Arabian Ranches. Does anyone know how long the school run takes from AR to Kings Dubai?
