After you've frozen samosas (or any kind of patty) in a single layer, you can place them in a rectangular plastic storage container and separate the layers with wax paper or parchment paper. Much less chance of sticking together/ breakage post thawing than storing in ziplock bags.
You need to freeze them in a single layer (in a tray or plate). Once frozen, they can be removed and stored in plastic ziplock bags and put back in the freezer. This way they won't stick to one another (I am assuming that is why they broke apart in your case).
Hiya ladies,
I made loads of homemade samosas for guests that will be arriving soon. I put them in freezer bags and stored them in the freezer. However today when i thought i'd organise them a bit better they fell apart.
I had first piled them in the bag with no order as it was getting so late and i was tired. Ive now placed them flat and managed two layers. Is layering them just a no no. Is there a better way. Ive got to redo about 15 of them which i want to avoid next time.
TIA x
