Dirhams are accepted in most places in Oman. Certainly between the UAE and Muscat at petrol stations you should be fine.

Sorry if it's a silly question but I can't find the answer anywhere - can you pay for petrol at petrol stations in Oman using dirhams, or do you need to take OMR or can you use a CC? Thanks!
