Alternatively, any other non-dairy butter substitute that doesn't contain soy/flax/coconut???

What will you be using it for m_king? If it's for toast you can make your own to keep in the fridge using olive oil blended with coconut oil or cocoa butter. Not so good for sandwiches though. For baking coconut oil works for a lot of things.

Have you tried just an olive oil spread? Also be careful of the Nuttelex brand as some contain soy http://www.nuttelex.com.au/nuttelex-pulse/ (as does the NKD pizza base apparently?!)
