I've had my lashes done a few times now and can say that I absolutely love having them on HOWEVER I do not recommend doing this regularly - you do lose a few of your natural lashes along the way. I did mine for the first time at Christmas while in Australia and they lasted 1 month - I NEVER touch them or pull at them and don’t wear mascara with them. I am very careful when I shower (never put my face under full pressure to avoid ruining them) and don’t sleep on my side of face - if you want them to last longer than you do have to be careful. I wanted to have them again before I traveled this summer so ended up getting them done at NStyle in DIFC and have to say after 2.5 weeks they are still looking fab - a few have fallen out but nothing major. I will not get them again till maybe next summer but I do feel naked once they come off and I have naturally long lashes! I was recently recommended another place to try in JLT (Oando Beauty in Cluster T) which is much cheaper than Style - the recommendation was given by a very reputable beauty therapist who has tried them herself..I plan to try them next. Hope this is helpful:)

You either love them or hate them I have had them done twice and struggled with them. You don't need mascara and can get them wet. and they are quite long, if you have fair skin and shortish light coloured lashes they look very fake . To me they felt odd and not natural. Sort of a spiky feeling if that makes sense. I lost most of my own eyelashes and I couldn't lie down for 2 hours with my eyes closed whilst they applied them. I wanted to constantly open my eyes. What mascara are you using that it smudges? I use the volume effect by YSL and never had any problems with smudging. An alternative is having an eyelash tint which stays for around 4 weeks. Much cheaper than the extensions, takes 20 minutes to apply and once it is applied and dried you can curl them with an eyelash curler. When I go out I use falsies. It took me a while to be able to apply them but now can do them in the dark

Do many of you recommend eye lash extensions? Do you need to wear mascara with it? Or, can you have so much volume that you dont need mascara? I love thick, long eye lash but I am stick of wearing mascara as its always smudges, even the expensive waterproof ones that say they dont smudge do. I am constantly having to wipe it away which I am sure is going to give me big bags under my eyes, Can you get extensions wet? Thanks
