Hi ladies,

any recommendation for a late 20/early 30 lady:cool:
I have never used any, but I feel like it's time to start.

Thank you

I'm dreading having my cataracts done cos I just know I'm going to look in the mirror a few days later and realise I do look every one, and probably more, of my 54 years. Oh DR.......wait till you hit 64............:(

Boots protect and perfect is clinically proven and I have definitely noticed results. It was recommended on an episode of Doctors over here in the UAE and was also featured on a lot of UK shows.;) I second that..........and when it's three for two in Boots.........even better!

I just started using SkinCeuticals Retinol 0.3 and absolutely love it - no irritation even on my sensitive skin. From what I have read, however, they only recommend to use retinoids in autumn/winter months due to the fact that during the use of such products your skin becomes very photosensitive and hence much more prone to pigmentation. Ofcourse one always uses high SPF factor but still, something to be aware of, considering winter in UAE is like summer in Europe.. If you are looking to prevent, I swear by SkinCeuticals antioxidant serums, you can check on their site www.skinceuticals.com - Serum 10, CE Ferulic or Phloretin CF. They are not super cheap but can easily last for 3 months. Love the effect on my skin and fully trust the power of their ingredients. Good luck))

Just make sure you are using SPF50 on your face. Prevention always better than cure! I use Johnsons which is for babies sensitive skin, so much better for the face. Its about 30 Dhs from Carrefour Couldn't agree more, the best way to prevent wrinkles is slap on the sunscreen. Always use a moisturizer with an SPF. I also use babies sunscreen as it's SPF 50 and VERY waterproof.

Got a bottle of the "Pure Oil" today at one of the little stores at Souq Madinat - Orient Spirit Trading. They actually had a small selection of the stuff there. Face creams with it as the main ingredient etc but I went for the pure stuff on it's own as I would like to use it on my hair too. The idiot that I am didn't even pay attention to the exact location but it's a big ish store that sells mostly embroidery, nice quilt blankets, souvenirs, silver tea pots with the cute little multi colored cups. I know that pretty much sums up 98% of the stores in there but it's the best I can do for now :( If you do go hunting for it, just look out for the store that has the nice silky blankets/quilts/photo albums! Seemed to be the only one that sold mostly that

Best thing to do then by the sounds of it, is to buy one of these mentioned creams from bellow with the RetinA in it and add a tiny drop of the argon oil in it! I'm only 27 but spend ALOT of time in the sun and water because of work so have also decided to start taking care of the wrinkles early! Let's see how this works! edited by ABF on 23/08/2011

skinceuticals from Boots has a good amount of RetinA in it, it is very potent and good for anti ageing.

Everyone seems to be swearing by Argon Oil these days! "Liquid Gold" for wrinkles apparently! Just bought some today so let's see in a couple of months if it works as well as they say!

All you need is Retin-A :) You get it at all pharmacies and is really cheap. Do a patch test though before using it.
