Any more interested parties for the 'dvd loan'?? Also, for any ladies wanting to buy, I checked out Virgin Megastore in DM. They had a range of Jane Austen including: the new S&S= 70dhs the Jane Austen collection (about 260dhs) the 1995 (Colin Firth) P&P spec Ed= 90dhs and so on. Seems the prices are a bit better than they used to be. They also had shows like Lark Rise to Candleford in both individual seasons and the whole set box (which was about 600dhs!!!)

Hi Maroosh, (just logged in today after long absence from the board and saw your post) I am a huge Jane Austen/BBC fan. I do know when I was looking that I saw *some* DVDs in C4 at MOE, and also in Virgin Megastore (they were a bit more expensive, though). Borders *may* have them but I am not 100% sure. Do they have to be in Dubai? Possible to order from Amazon or will they not ship here? Anyway, I have a few if you would like to borrow. I have: Wives & Daughters (BBC) 301mins Period: c1860's Sense & Sensibility (BBC) 207mins Period c1810's (not the Kate Winslet version, but still lovely and in some aspects, better) Persuasion (I think ITV) with Rupert Penry-Jones as Cpt Wentworth Jane Austen Collection (3 disc) by Time Life: Emma (starring Kate Beckinsale) Northanger Abbey Mansfield Park (starring Billie Piper) all running for approx 295mins Emma (BBC) With Romola Garai & Johnny-Lee Miller (Angelina's ex hubby!) in fact I really, really loved this version. 229mins If you are interested in borrowing any just drop me a line. I can mail to you or perhaps drop at your work if not too far from me :) I also love Downton Abbey and can't wait for season three! :D

Does anyone know if they are sold here in Dubai? So far I have watched it online, but would love to have it on DVD. Especially Pride and Prejudice, it's my favourite! I don't like to watch the Keira Knightley one, they killed the whole thing in that movie, plus I want Colin Firth! He IS Mr. Darcy...:) Thanks in advance:) I have my occasionally craving and for now shall be hunting the net!
