Miyako at Hyatt Regency has 2 teppanyaki grill tables, food is excellent. Often busy as the restaurant is quite small so you'd probably need to book. Agree, Miyako is good too and you can use Entertainer Family vouchers there :)

Another fan of teppanyaki in Benihana in Al Bustan Rotana - I think they have teppanyaki night on Wednesdays. Ginger sauce on salads and fried rice there is just yum. Just please don't go to Benihana in Rotana which is in JBR - it's not the same at all. edited by dramaqn on 20/08/2012 The one in JBR is "off?" good to know. There is one in Crowne Plaza downtown--we thought about going there sometime, but if the one in Al Bustan is tried and tested maybe we'll try there. well, in comparison to Benihana in Al Bustan and Benihanas in US - yes. Not to offend anyone, but fried rice in JBR tasted like bariyani and ginger sauce on salad was too bad. The only 2 good things there - fried ice-cream and outside terrace.

Thanks for the suggestions. We are going to give the one at the Crowne Plaza a go. Usually we go to Tokyo at the Towers but the last time we were a little disappointed..lets see if the CP is any good!

Not aware that Mango Tree does Teppanyaki, it's a Thai restaurant and doesn't have the teppanyaki grill...Tokyo at the Towers is excellent, and agree, Benihana at Al Bustan is good too...
