I read somewhere that only seats approved according to Australian standards can be used in Australia.
We are travelling for a month long vacation and 7 yr old DS, who is 17kg (37 lb) would need a booster seat.
Any idea where I can find one here in Dubai that is Australian standard approved... I think AS/NZS 1754?
Or would I be better off to buy one after we reach Australia?

I was thinking of the BubbleBum & Trunki BoostaPak, but not sure if either are approved there?

suggestions welcome.

Thanks ladies.

Thankyou KT99. We'll probably pick up a full back seat once we are there then. :)

No booster seats are legal in Aus, it needs to be a full car seat for kids under 18kgs, I think. My 7 year old still sits in a large toddler seat with a 5 point harness. Check RAC or safe and sound websites for accurate info. If you are hiring a car, you can hire the appropriate seat at the same time.
