I found a British passport this morning in the ladies toilets in the baggage collection area. It was handed to the police desk in the arrivals hall.

Posting it on here in the hope of someone knowing this lady. It would save her a lot of hassle if she could collect the passport before reporting it missing as it becomes invalid if located after reporting it.

the british one does...and it was a british one that was lost. ...... and thats exactly why I mentioned it :D It's so strange that other countries don't follow suit, such a simple but important page to have in your passport ......Bizzare!! Some countries do-the Aussie one has a contact information page

Even if there isn't a designated page for this information, use a 'post it note' with your contact details on it. This won't deface your passport but at least the information is there.

Hopefully she filled out the emergency details on the last page with contact details and telephone number? Many nationalities dont have this in their passports including mine ;)

Maybe worth carrying on your kind gesture and contacting the British Consulate here to let them know this?
