We're visiting over Dec....I'd like to surprise my niece with a Barney cake for her Birthday. Any ideas where I can get a cake made in Marina/surrounds? Are there any Bakeries that I can try for a nice cake otherwise?

I have tried caketastic before and they are amazing. i have just been recommended another cake maker on facebook page MyCakes-UAE. they look amazing and my friend told me they tasted as good as they look ! so will give this one a try next.

Have a look at Nuku's cakes and Cookies on Facebook. We have had several cakes from her and they have all been fantastic. She did a jungle one for us a week ago and the detail was amazing. She lives on the Springs.

I bought an amazing cake from House of Cakes before, but they're in International City which is far from Marina. They do deliver though but I remember it was not cheap. Another one I can see online is Sweet Lane Cakes but I haven't tried them yet so can't really comment.
