Hi Metro, its a difficult questin to answer... each child is different and it also depends on the age, level of ability etc..... does she have OT or speech as well?? 12 hours is quite a lot for a child, I used to work in a center but felt that parents were being 'ripped off' and pressured into having more and more theraphy plus OT and speech etc,also the prices that parents are charged is silly!! so now I work privately :) is your DD at school?, ... so sorry for a long answer but I tell all my parents they have to go with thier gut feeling on this type of thing, dont be pressured into things you dont believe will help or improve your DDs condition, I too had a child with develpomental delay and were told we needed this and that and and and,, in the end enough was enough and my DD had had enough as well... just go with what you feel is right for your DD and your family!!.... good luck ;)
