Okay, we all know that radio here is pretty terrible, but after years of sticking with Radio 2 because we liked their music policy, we've finally been forced to switch to Dubai 92 because the current R2 breakfast show is just so bad. Does anybody here actually like it?

I'm sure Kenny and Accalia are lovely people, but they just have zero chemistry and they're not funny. Accalia was okay when she did the midmorning show, but she's the wrong sort of presenter to be doing breakfast. Kenny doesn't sound like a natural breakfast presenter either, he sounds more like he should be doing a late-night slot.

So we're giving Catboy and Geordiebird a try, but they're on holiday until the 28th!

I tend to flick between radio 1 and 2, changing the station every time I get overly annoyed with the untalented presenters, lack of material, dreadful adverts and **** music. After about 20 minutes of this, I get really annoyed and stick on my ipod to listen to Chris Moyles and Scott Mills' podcasts.

I too have switched my allegiance away from Radio 2 breakfast show to 92. I don't know who decided to put Kenny and Accalia together but they need shooting! Duckworth and Daisy had great chemistry and did a really good breakfast show. What's the frequency for Coast?

I used to love Accalia on the mid morning show and always enjoyed the guest slots, but don't like the breakfast show format the few times I've listened - if I do the school run it's Radio 1 at that time of day with DDs in the car, but I miss Accalia's show later on in the day when I'm in the car on my own.

We've only ever listened to Coast since we've been here....tho the teen changes it to Virgin whenever he can lol..no complaints, it's a nice balance of music and chat IMO..

I LOVE CB and GB, I love their quick wit, humour in the morning and their jibes at each other, I think they are hilarious. They make me snort out loud :D I think CB is as funny as Chris Moyles used to be in his hey-day but recently listened to CM and thought CB was much better. :)

We used to enjoy Duckworth and Daisy on the school run, (particularly "Are you Smarter than Daisy?" ;) ) but things have definitely deteriorated since Duckworth left. I also used to like Accalia when she did the mid-morning show, but you're right, the Breakfast Show doesn't suit her. Haven't found anything to replace it, so just stocked up the ipod and plugged it in. (Could this be part of the reason my computer has completely crashed, I wonder?) <em>edited by simpleasabc on 07/08/2011</em>

I beg to differ! I've only just started listening to them (been listening about 3 months now) and I'm glad I made the switch. Mind you, perhaps that's a reflection on just how bad the previous station that I was listening to was!
