Has anyone tried using Entertainer buffet vouchers at Iftar?
Or Iftars are excluded as a 'special deals' or something like that?
Hotel iftars are so expensive this years, for two of us it will come up to approx.400DHS, which in my opinion isn`t worth it. So i thought maybe i could try using the vouchers...
Any info anybody?
TIA :)

The food in Al Dana was not really great. Lets say average but the service was perfect. Anyhow i wouldnt go back. Our Iftar in Channels was very nice. Actually my boss is often at the Certo in Radisson Blue in Media City and it doesnt matter when i need to call them. They are always unfriendly and unmotivated. I think its not just the Voucher Issue. Maybe i should stop calling them while they having a peacefull nap at work ;-)

Thans for the info, Gege:) So as i thought-you can`t really use them for the Iftars. It's very unlikely that we will ever go to Al Dana-checked once and it was the saddest buffet we`ve ever seen in town. I don`t quite get it why staff in some places acts so annoyed in the sight of a voucher, as if they gonna feed you out their own pocket :\:

We phoned some Restaurants out of the Entertainer to check if we will be able to use the voucher. Media Rotana - Channels accept the voucher for Iftar (I asume the other Rotana Hotels will do the same) Crown Plaza - Al Dana (weekdays it will be served there) Chef's House didnt accept the voucher because its discounted rates etc. (by the way the lady was so unfriendly and rude when we ask for the possibility to use the voucher) Kaleidoskop will accept the voucher but after 9 pm - not for the Iftar Buffet

Only a very few vouchers in the Entertainer Fine Dining book seem to be valid for buffet style meals, most of them specify that they're valid for a "main course" only. Not sure if the other Entertainer books are the same? We have the family and the fine dining books. Yes, there isn`t many vouchers for the buffet. Anyhow, none of them states that it can`t be used during the Iftar buffet. So i was wandering how come EW`ers haven`t tried using the vouchers for Iftar as well...

Wild Mint are you a member of the website? I got an email from them last week with special Iftar 2for1 offers. I think you just need to join the site to be able to use them. I guess based on this you will not be able to use a normal voucher from the books, same way you cant use them at brunches (we've been denied at Saffron before). The month before there were 2for1 brunches at Al Qasr so deffo worth signing up for it, we saved over 1,000dhs last month.

Been looking myself but I believe Iftar would be classed as a promotion and wouldn't be valid same as a brunch.:)
