what is BBB? and thank you for the welcome.......I have 2 super noisy DS's - 10 months and 2 1/2 years and the main reason we are moving afer 3 years in quiet jumeirah is so that we can see more kiddos and mummies and daddies....... That and the fact we have rented an office in ET too so home and work will be about 3 buildings away... :) no more commute to work ........yaaay edited by designbabe on 10/03/2011 Welcome! Which towers are the office towers? Have they all been handed over and what are they like? Is there any news on the hotel? The office is tower D- and its ready as far as I know. I think FAM properties is located there and we are shifting offices there in June....no idea about the Hotel though...

Thank you so much MB....was wondering for a while if my posts were invisible... :\: So its definately fixed that we'll be moving there in April.....with 2 kiddos and 2 cats.... The agent we are speaking to said that it is not a problem and they are indoor cats which we never let out of the house (my tom would love to go out but he is a menace) So those of you living in the podium villas...how are you enjoying it? and what is the difference between the podium and garden villas?

I can't help with prices of 3 or 4 beds but if you look on dubizzle prices will be listed. As far as big open spaces for running around and bike riding then there's plenty of that here.

Can anyone update on the rents of a three bedroom and a four bedroom? We are relocating to Dubai end April and ET is on our potential list being close to DH's work. We have a month old boy and a super energetic two year old girl. From the thread it seems like ET is a fairly family friendly place. But for us outdoor space where our tot can run around, ride her bike etc is a big priority. Would love to hear some residents' take on this.

Thanks Sugarbeach! We've got our keys now and signed the contract so we'll be beginning to move in this weekend. Look out for the stressed mother, small child and laid back husband heaving suitcases around! Seriously - we're really pleased to be moving in and it's SO CLOSE to our little boy's school. We've had our windows cleaned twice in the last year.... Which seems reasonable, but they get dirty so fast!!! Pool is only shut for a week or so, and it's easy to use the other pool (2 pools in the ET complex). Pool in zone 1 is sunnier I find anyway (but still lots of shade for kiddies!!!)

Hello - joining this thread as we've just more or less secured an apt at ET. Moving in asap I hope, with our little boy. We arrived here from the UK last week, and am desperate to get into our own place. He's starting school at Safa very soon too. Would love to meet other parents, and if anyone has any maid recommendations do let me know (I will also post on the maid's board) We saw that the pool was 'closed for maintenance' today- how long do you think til it'll be open? Caesar Supermarket has opened in the bottom of Falcon Tower, which is just infront of us on the Sheikh Zayed Rd. I have not been in yet but it seems to be quite big. MB they dont do ironing just confirmed :( also my cousin pointed out that i need to rush up on my maths :) it costs 15dhs per hr per maid not 8 as i pointed out earlier sorry...but do take a look at their different deals not bad in all

Thank u SB :) Balamory see im paying 756dhs for 2 hrs 3 times a week...which rounds off to 24hrs a month so by tht calculation im paying 32dhs for 2 hrs for 2 maids which means arnd 8dhs per hr for each maid hows is tht for landing a great one :D :D :D whens spinneys opening up???
