Hi worldgirl, my sis in law and partner are arriving on the same flight I think, from manchester? I checked on the doha airport guide for departures and it looks like the connecting flight has been delayed also. It was due to leave at 8:30pm doha time. Fingers crossed its waiting for our flight. Apparently they will sometimes delay if there is a large number of passengers who are connecting. Otherewise the next flight with QR is 11:59pm....yawn! <em>edited by minxy on 10/11/2011</em>

If QR don't have a flight there's one on EK at around 10pm I think. But I am sure there's one after 10 on QR as well.

Hmmm - one reason I am not keen to fly with Qatar airways again. I had an overnight flight from the UK that was delayed leaving. So we had been up all day, travelled all night (with delay) missed our connecting flight in Qatar. Had to wait about 7 hours for the next flight to Dubai. There was no one in the business class lounge but would they let us in to have a shower - no! This was about 6 years ago and the facilities at Doha airport at that time were quite limited. It was a v boring day! I hope your parents don't have to wait as long for the next flight.

Please can someone tell me if you have a connection flight and the first leg is delayed by 3hours, what happens? My parents are flying from UK with Qatar Airlines. TIA If they are flying the first leg with QA and the 2nd leg with same airline, then QA should take care of getting them connected, and I think there's a bit of a wait in Doha from the London flight to the next Dubai flight with QA, so maybe they will catch up a bit of time and make the connection ok, otherwise QA have to arrange to put them on the next flight. Are they in the air now? if so I would try to call QA and enquire.
