Layool, with a bit of an effort and time, they will be able to find 3bedroom villa in Umm Suqeim or Jumeirah, too. Driving around the desired location and calling the numbers outside property is the best way to find what you want. Last year we did view 5 bedroom + maids with a garden and lovely lovely landlord for AED130K/year! Good luck.

Hi .... Try the Springs....2m , 3 bed plus maids Villa for 145k for 2588 sq ft, or a 3E, 3 beds villa for 120k for 2260 sq ft...or the Meadows ..pay a bit more than the Springs but a good environment. Also the Lakes, with the fab Country/ health club. All areas ideal for new internationals, lots of socializing etc. They need to have a drive around to suss out what suits them. Makes life a lot easier...GOOD LUCK

If they would like an apartment in a brand new complex in a central location, they would get a lovely 3 bed apartment in Executive Towers for that. We are in a very spacious 3 bed for 90000 for 14 months rent. There are also a lot of three beds in the Marina in that price range. They would also easily get a three bed villa in the Springs-there are plenty of nice ones for that price, many of my friends live there and love it. A little further out is Al Waha/Layan but they would get great value for their money. Mirdif is also very affordable. I hope they find what they are looking for! :)

You can get a decent villa in Al Barsha for that money.

Wow, I must live on the wrong side of town then or in a 'poor location' as we only pay 85k for a spacious 3bed villa with a private garden. In my opinion 140k can get them a nice 3 bed villa BUT it really depends if they are looking for a specific location. We used Elysian Real Estate and found them to be very professional. For the first time we actually (without asking) got passport copy of our landlord, documents to prove that the landlord owned the property and drawings of the property itself. Other than the contract itself we have never received any of these documents for other properties we've lived in. You can find their contact info at http://www.elysianrealestate.com/ I hope they find something soon.

I hate it when people blame the relocation company/consultant, truthfully 140k is not a very big budget and the choice will be limited to Springs (in poor locations) and apartments in JBR, maybe The Palm on the wrong side of the street, small Al Reems in Arabian Ranches - if they are lucky etc etc.
