Gym & childcare!!!

I am desperate to go back to the gym, if not now, then after the summer, in September. Problem being, I have no-one to watch my little girl who is now 17 months. Does there exist out there a gym that has child care where you can drop your child off for an hour while you're working out?? The Health and Fitness CLub in Abu Dhabi had a day care in it and you could drop off your LO for however long. Surely something like this exists in Dubai!?!?!
I don't mind if it's a membership deal where you have a membership for the entire health club with whatever facilities it has and then you also have access to the childcare bit of it.
Failing that, a decent daycare/nursery that allows you to pay-as-you-go so you can drop your child off for a couple of hours every other day or some such and run off to the gym which is hopefully close by...
Thanks for any advice.

Check out www.activeturn.com They can even come to your home and watch your kids while a personal trainer gets you back into shape! They also let you extend beyond the 1 hour in case you wanna get your shopping done etc! :-) The girl that does the babysitting is fully qualified and from Europe, give her a ring 050 8817335 good luck!

There is also the option of one of the Pure Fitness classes. I've been to Zumba and Body Combat and really enjoyed them both. (Never been to a group fitness class before I tried these) Little one comes along with you and either joins in, sits and plays with the toys and other kids at the back or sleeps in their stroller. There are little ones of all ages and it's a great environment. These are both indoor classes which is great for this time of year, but during the cooler months they also run a series of outdoor classes called Buggy Fit or BugEFit I think. Hope you find something to suit. K

Thanks for any advice. The Jebel Ali Nursery at The Meadwows Centre take babies from 18months+ on a pay-as-you-go option for 35aed per hour! I spoke to them last week as I looked into the same, however my DD is much younger, so that option was ruled out :( It's the nursery which is inside the Hayya Club ;)
