Crafty, google the before and after pictures for castor oil and hair loss. I hope it works for you. I have often thought about buying myself a wig as well, as I wasn't blessed with luscious locks and the bit I do have is thin, dry and frizzy. Maltese, have a look in the plaster section of Carrefour/Geant or Life Pharmacy/Boots. Mrs B. Did you leave it on overnight, or for how long??

I haven given up and accepted that I will be bald soon. I have tried everything. It started off about 3 years ago when I noticed my hair was falling out and breaking off. Since then I have not coloured my hair and have spent a fortune on hair treatments, shampoos, conditioners, hair loss/ scalp treatments and have two filters on my shower . I have been to hair doctors and specialists, had blood tests and take the relevant supplements for hair. A saw the hair specialist who gave me scalp serum and lotions- thousands of dirhams later and I have less hair. He told me to go off my HRT which I did that made no difference either so what next- a wig I guess. Before I do I will try the olive oil as a last effort. Good luck to you all, hope you have success

I also suffered terribly from hair loss (mine from wearing my hijab too tightly, I think). I found a hairdresser who swore to me that massaging my hair and scalp regularly with castor oil(mixed with a little almond oil so it is not so thick) would rejuvenate my hair. I did it as I was desperate and was amazed at the results. I have a head of hair again!!! I have been doing it now 2-3 times a week since about October last year. I have heard this before Mrs. B. It can be used on eyebrows and eyelashes as well. Did the castor oil make your hair in better condition?. I wonder if it will be any good for hair that looks like Wurzel Gummidge, that's how mine is at the moment and I have tried many products on it, might give the castor oil a go as well.

I was told exactly same by my hairdresser and it really worked. If you mind telling, whose that hair dresser? Btw, it really worked well and my hair got thick and shiny. God bless her. I think I might have to try that hairdresser of yours! Same with my hair - I go to Evelyn at the Carleton Hotel in Deira (opposite the Dhow Wharfage area). She is great. She saved my hair and she is not expensive.

I mix about 20ml bergamotessens and 10 drops of Bayrum in my shampoo and conditioner and use as normal. The results are astounding - your hair stops falling out and it also grows much more quickly. The results are noticeable from the first wash.

I went to different dermatologists, but nothing has helped so far.
