We urgently need to sell our Chevreolet Tahoe 2008, how long does it usually take here to sell a car? its not in perfect conditions (has a few scratches) will this cause a longer period of wait? Car is 1 year old because of the damages we dropped the price almost half!! Can we expect it to be sold in a week?

Just remember NOT to let the car go anywhere until you have the cash for it and that includes waiting for cheques to clear. Don't take anyone's 'word' for a sale. A serious buyer would also put a deposit on it. We are actually hopping to get a deposit to clear all the registration cancellation things, really have no idea how much that will cost, we never sold a car before.

We sold our 4x4 on Dubizzle within a day to the first person who saw it! I checked the prices on Dubizzle and priced ours accordingly. The big advantage of ours was that the mileage was very low for the age of the vehicle and it was also in very good condition as we had taken care of it. We cleaned the inside really well with a product that makes all the plastic bits shiny and bought a nice air freshner, as it's all about first impressions! I also took some good photos with the car parked next to some nice shrubbery; I think all these things make the car look more attractive. Good luck
