"raw fish" urgh, ok.. that was in the 'early 70/80's my view. Now older and more refined.. yum yum. Any authentic restaurants that you ladies could recommend, not looking for highend restaurants, oh and don't forget the dim sum!:):)

A lot of people love Sumo but I find nothing special with their sushi, I'm better off buying sushi from Carrefour. . it's verry MaccDy's of the sushi world :) Couldn't agree more!

A lot of people love Sumo but I find nothing special with their sushi, I'm better off buying sushi from Carrefour. I second Okku, but you can't jut walk in as they are always full. Manga Sushi is also pretty good.

The Japenese restaurant Miako at the old Hyatt in Deira has yummy Sushi....slurp!!! I love sushi too. My kids dont so we nowadays end up eating sushi at Japengo.

There is a quirky sushi place on Beach road in the Beach Centre? (the one with only food outlets in) which is YUMMY Manga Sushi, good value for money and think they have some entertainer vouchers too. Their Teppanyaki Chicken is really good.

I love sushi too, but a japanese sushi master told me i shouldn't eat it in between May and September because of the weather conditions..I never had any problems.
