Thanks AS and Boomerang. Good to know they're fibre optics just spent ages on the phone with Etisalat who couldn't tell me whether or not the area was fibre optics unless i gave them a neighbors number?????

Etisalat, fibre optic and e life package is advised. Gardeners, ask DSO helpdesk to send you a list of approved ones who can work in DSO, or ask security to send them around to your villa.
