If you don't get acess let me know and I'll recommend you. There's no way you would get two rooms on the front terrace. One with a small balcony in front would be all. If you were thinking of extending on the ground floor than yes you'd get another upstairs room above. To be honest the front terraces are a waste of space, unless you want to sit out there in public view ;)

because the group is closed i cant view anything, only members of that group! aaaah :( so i called one of the construction companies that deal with Nakheel on upgrading JVT villas and they said to build 2 bed on the terrace and a guest room on g its roughly 700,000AED,. does that sound about right? Did they mean build two bedrooms on the front terrace?? If you can try and ask to be allowed to join. There is a whole lot of different things going on with extensions and various companies. There's also the money you have to pay Nakheel, did they take that into account. If you can't get yourself into the group, let me know and I'll try and get you admitted and tell them what you're after. edited by Geordie expat on 24/03/2014 Aww you are a gem thank you so much. i have asked for access but access not granted yet. I am not sure if its 2 bed int he terrace but the guy said 2 bed top floor and one on ground and extending the lounge. yes he took nakheel fees into account too. thanks x

Unfortunately I can't access that from work to see, but if it is and you can search, there are a number of posts on about extensions along with numerous pictures, as you will be better goiung with the recommendations on there. If you can wait till tonight I will check then for you.

Go on the JVT facebook page. There are a number of very good threads of there about who to use and who not to use and also the cost you will have to pay Nakheel to extend.

Hello Ladies, My husband and i are thinking of selling our house in the green community DIP and bying a 2 bedroom in the jumeirah Village Triangle and upgrade it to 4 or 5 bedrooms. we drove there recently and saw few houses already being upgraded. Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to upgrade the house to an additional 2 or 3 beds. please advise. Thank you, Jennifer
