I had heard that there was a Kikki K in Dubai Mall, but think someone said it had closed down or moved. Does anyone know for sure if Kikki K operates here and if so, where from?

If it has closed, is there another shop with similar organisation and planning stationery? I stupidly left my weekly planner pad and other things back in Australia and now want to replace them here. I've not been able to find anything comparable to-date...

Thanks S&D, I tried Ording and Reda, unfortunately all they had was diaries and big month by month wall planners. Lovely stuff, though, I agree. Typo...will go look. I know they have retail outlet near me in Brissie now, but I don't recall seeing planners in there. Shellly, yes, I might have to hit on a friend to send something, just hate putting them out, they are all so busy. I already have someone sending me a few things *gulp*. Other option is printing a free template from the internet, but they would all be A4 and thus smaller than the Kikki K one. Or doing up my own and having it blown up by a place like Officeworks or something. Maybe that's the go??? Is there a big photo-copying/laminating chain in Dubai similar to Officeworks?

Yep it's closed. Try typo and see if they deliver here. Otherwise there is a lovely shop at Ibn Buttua called Ording and Reda- similar stuff. For the sushi roller, try Daiso- at Oasis Centre or there is a new one opening at Ibn Buttuta. Might also be one at Mirdif City Centre but that is a long haul from your place

The shop always looked like it was temporary. They literally had just a very small amount of stock on offer and picture this... picture 1 or 2 products then picture said products being the ONLY products displayed on a whole wall. It really was a joke. Go on their website and let someone know in Oz which items you want, this way you get what you want (I love Kikki K products) and have them posted to you. This is of course if you can't find anything else similar here.

bugg3r. I hate that! What a shame. The stupid little things I thought I put out to pack but obviously haven't and now I can't find similar here. Also left my sushi tool at home (not a bamboo mat, a plastic one that makes them neater and firmer) and looking for one of those to do kids school lunches... Thanks for the info. At least I won't be going on a wild goose chase thinking it might be somewhere in there. {:-(

Kikki K was opposite Waitrose in DM, but last time I was there the shop seemed to have closed down. You're not missing out though - it was the most lamest Kikki K store I've ever been in. Kikki K in Oz rocks, Kikki K here was just a waste of space. IMO. Try and have a friend back home get one for you if you can... ;)
