And also by cooking well meat and fish.
Cooking off meat doesn't make it less off just like cooking off vegetables does not make them less off.
What I meant was that I can wash off dirt and where fingers have been from vegetables more effectively but it is more difficult with meat as it doesn't have a protective outer layer like a capsicum for example.
There have been reports before about meat having reached the use by date being repackaged and labled and put out for sale !
And this was done by the well known supermarkets !
It's a wonder we aren't all dead really. Sensible advice from Sue62 (although I'd put it more bluntly)...stop reading this rubbish and get out there and enjoy life!
Ewwwwww I bought meet from spinnys when I opened it within date it smelt off and was turning green ment to take it back but never got around to it yuk!!!!!!

Is spinneys, carrefour in the 97 % ????

Carrefour would definitely be on the list I'd think. You almost ALWAYS see a thick strand of hair in their lamb packs. That ugly sight is enough to turn anyone vegetarian... atleast for a week.
What d they mean by retailer ?
scary !
The shops that sell us the meat and fish!
This means 97% of all shops that carry meat and fish are not practising proper or adequate public health and hygiene standards.
Scary Indeed!
