Does anyone have an opinion on which Meat Company is better? Madinat or Souk Al Bahar?
And does anyone happen to have spare vouchers?

Am planning to take my sister out for her birthday with a few friends and not sure which outlet to book plus the vouchers would obviously help as I was planning to invite everyone :)

Thanks for all the opinions, I have so far only heard people raving about The Meat Co. Am surprised their meat is so poorly rated. I will have their fish anyway - so I will be fine :-) My sister loves the place, hence I chose it, will see what the party thinks of it when we r there, though I'm really hoping they will like it now with all the negative feedback :-( edited by Jobert on 24/07/2012

I think Hunters at the Westin is great and there are vouchers in the Entertainer, Ruth's Chis seem to be doing lots of deals at the moment both in the Marina and the one at the Monarch (or is that called something else now ... the H?). Asado is lovely and on a cool evening great view of the fountains. Meat Co - very mediocre, but I would rate the Madinat one over the one in Souk al Bahar. Oh and Seafire at Atlantis ... vouchers in fine dining - love it there and the kids get to see the aquarium on the way through (go through the main door and walk to Seafire). For a less fancy atmosphere we've also been to the Grand Grill at the Habtoor, also vouchers in Fine Dining. ETA you can only use a max of 3 or 4 vouchers for each party - check the book, sorry can't put my hand on it at the moment. edited by cymraes on 24/07/2012

I like both Meat Co restaurants - locations are great, but not sure if fountains operating during Ramadan. Never had a bad experience and they happily accept the Entertainer vouchers.

Another option is the Grand Grill. Good food and steaks...

I'm sorry to say but i wouldn't go there either, especially as it's for a special occasion. Not dire but way too overpriced for what you get. I have loads of fine dining vouchers i'd be willing to swap for a family one. HTH

If you want a good steak place, do not go there! MJ's at Madinat Jumeriah is awesome, Assado at Palace Hotel, Rib Room at Emirates Place, all really good - all with fine dining vouchers! I went to the Meat Co at the Madinat and both the service and the shoe leather tasting steak was awful plus the bill was ridiculously overpriced

I am sure there are some threads on here regarding the meat co at Souk Al Bahar Personally speaking i do not rate it and think it is ridiculously overpriced for the quality of the steaks :-(
