I can't believe how much you ladies pay I'd be a very nice dentist and great at my job if I was making that much profit lol Dr madhu he doesn't charge silly Dubai prices which other dentists charge and get away with because people still pay.... His based next to karama fire station opposite the main post office. You can get a crown from 700 Dhs and before you ask if it's the same crown as the other dentists put in. In jumeriah, yes it is. His work his great.

I second Amelia. Dr Nicolas is very good and have many expertises and offices. However be prepared to pay. I have done 2 crowns with them! Hope you have a good insurrance.

Have to agree that Nicholas & Asp are excellent, but rather expensive. The most involved procedure I had there was an extraction and implant which was over 14,000 dhs. They then asked for 5,000 for the permanent crown, so total cost was close to 20,000 dhs. !! I had been told at the outset that the amount of 14000 would include the crown but this was wrong information and they would not honour the original price that was quoted. I had a temporary crown fitted at the time of the implant and it is still in place 2 1/2 years later. No way am I going to pay 5,000 for a crown. Far too expensive. So yes, they are good, but be prepared for a hefty bill and make sure you get a written estimate beforehand.

Please do a search here for Dr Madhu that a number of us have seen - and he is very reasonable. very gentle and a specialist endodontist. He has the latest equipment and very modern offices even though a fairly modest location in Karama. I can highly recommend him

I've never had major dental work but I've been to see Mohammed Hamdoon. He doesnt do any work when he it's not needed to be done (unlike a lot of dentists here). His number is 04-3452001

Hi guys!! I was in the middle of getting major and various dental work done back home. I'm now here in Dubai and want to continue. I also need impacted wisdom teeth extraction. I'm looking for good reputable dentists to do the job properly. I had an appointment at Modern Dental Clinic in the Marina and the dentist seemed like a nice guy. But nice guy doesn't necessarily mean, nice job :( Have any of you guys had major dental work here. Who would you reccomend? What was your experience like? <em>edited by Cleo4e on 27/07/2011</em>
