I liked it but I'm so glad I didn't know it was a movie when I read it. Not sure I had Anne Hathaway in mind but probably a good choice, can look bookish and indeed better! I read an interview with the author and his only stipulation for the film was that the ending remained, so that's one good thing!

I think it's by David Nicholls. Erm, it never really gets that exciting Juzzrach. The tone and pace is the same throughout the whole book and it pretty much reflects real life. If you still don't like it after a couple of chapters you probably never will!

We seem to be reading lots of the same books lately! I liked it very much but in many ways preferred Starter for 10. David Nicholls is a genius!
