Should I use my PO Box address or home address ? And if it is POBox do they deliver straight or should i pick it up form the Post Office?

TIA

Oh-something else I discovered with Book Depository is that you can order books in other languages-so when I want my French fix I have been able to order French books-same free postage-not sure of the range or languages but it is handy if you like reading in other languages

Convinced :D! Just ordered. they are much quicker on delivery and i'm super impatient. plust i did notice one of the books was cheaper... so maybe it is just the books i ordered. will check over a few orders! thanks ladies! also wuffles thanks for the sign up wish list tip. No worries-put any book in the wish list-otherwise you won't get the email when it comes around-they always let you add to the wishlist as long as you have something in it already

Book Depository will also deliver big coffee table books for free-Amazon won't ship over a certain size and weight-Love the Book Depository!

Susan it must depend on the books. I saved 30 GBP on my last order by ordering fr TBD rather than Amazon - plus Amazon couldn't deliver one of the books on my list to the UAE. I'm a big fan! But always worth doing a comparison before ordering.

I prefer Book Depository-they post very quickly and as soon as they souce the books-this may mean you order 4 books and get 4 parcels on different days-you don't wait for the last one to come in. Also sign up and you get regular offers like 15% off all books in your wish list-so make sure you have books in there-you can add to it during sales-or 10% off offers at other times.I was also found they are better at filling pre-orders than Amazon. I did hear somewhere that Amazon has bought them out so they must be doing something right.

Does anyone else find that book depository is much more expensive than amazon? is that just the books i'm looking at or is it an experience that others are having is what im checking... i found that on 5 books, the amzon cost including shipping was slightly less than the cost of just the books in BD. And shipping in Amazon is almost 80% of the cost of books in most cases, just to put that into perspective. Also, another question, do the books actually arrive in the stipulated 5-8 days from BD? the downside for Amazon is that they do take forever to deliver here and if im paying similar amounts (regardless of whether its on shipping or the books themselves, i'd rather use the folks who deliver quicker). Phew... that sounded ramble-y. hopefully someone gets it and has an answer :P :)

I use my private PO Box here in Dubai. All books get delivered there (and not to your home). Good thing is that each book gets sent in a separate parcel (even when you order multiple books at once), and so I have not had any books sent to Central Post Office in Karama for pick up there (ususally bigger parcels get sent there for customs purposes). HTH
