Oh... I've checked prices for apartments in Palm Jumeirah <a href="https://tranio.com/uae/palm_jumeirah/apartments/"> https://tranio.com/uae/palm_jumeirah/apartments/>. It cannot be a peaceful place when you know how much money you have paid for it:\:
Hi Nobbles, sorry I have only just seen this post, but if this helps...we have been living in a Garden Home since 2007 on The Palm, normal family, 3 kids. We love living here, it feels like a bit of space outside of the normal hustle and bustle of Dubai.I walk every day around the Fronds, with no traffic on the beach! Noise wise it will depend on which frond and where you are, we are closer to the inner corner and do sometimes hear traffic over the weekend, but nothing major. If you are further out then that won't be a problem, if you are too far out and close to the crescent then there may be a little noise from the hotels if they are having events over the weekend but again only now and again. As far as party houses or short term rentals, that could be pot luck, but check out the neighbours first! We don't have an issue now but we did go through a stage of having a party house next door...security did sort that out eventually. Traffic is increasing as more buildings are being occupied and the building of the mall is causing a few disruptions, however it is manageble, on the whole I would advise your friend to choose her spot, check out the neighbours and enjoy the peace of The Palm!
Another factor your friend will have take into consideration is villas being rented on a nightly basis for parties. I've been to several parties on the fronds over the past few months and they're usually loud and go on until the wee hours. Of course, she would have no way of knowing if the neighbouring villas are available for short term leases but she needs peace and quiet and has a substantial budget, there are other options in the vicinity (Emirates Hills, Hattan, Jumeirah Islands)
Most of the villas are a long way from any of the hotels, but some are much closer. For example, I know that some of the residents opposite Nasimi Beach have had consistent problems.
Your friend needs to find a particular villa she likes and then check it out herself or at least ask the neighbours, because each frond will be different.
But I agree with the previous comment - if she wants a quiet, peaceful life then the Palm is probably not the best place for her. If she can afford to live there, she can afford to live in most places!
Firstly we cannot give advice unless you are more specific with whereabouts on the Palm as some areas will be quieter than others. Secondly, if I was looking for somewhere peaceful to live with some privacy, it certainly wouldn't be The Palm. If she has the budget somewhere like Al Barari is lovely and peaceful.
I agree, if it's a luxury villa in a peaceful location, Al Barari would tick the boxes.
I am sorry to the OP, but the question was too general, it's a bit like some people ask is Dubai expensive? or how much will I spend on food?
If your friend found a villa she liked, I don't think she will have a problem driving in and out of the Palm community, if she gives the security guy the villa number and explain her situation, I am sure she looks like she fits in living there as well and will not have a problem.
It seems like a million excuses why she can't find out herself how it is living where she wants to live. We all have different ideas what peaceful as well.
Let's face it - there are not many places where anyone can guarantee to be "peaceful" unless it is right out in the desert. Where i am at least half of 2 high rises have the pleasure of a barking dog all night that lives at a villa below. It never barks during the day! The other side of the buildings probably don't hear it at all.

I know it's not Ibiza! But if they've have nightclubs etc inside them, noise does carry! Why am I having such a hard time getting an answer? I am being quite reasonable and just want some help please!
You have been getting plenty of advice, like she should go and visit at different hours where she plans to live.
You have not given an exact address, so you will never get an exact answer.
I guess I was hoping that someone could shed light on whether the newly opened hotels around the crescents are causing noise problems for the residents on the fronds?
The hotels doesn't cause noise once they are open...stand outside one and listen. This is not exactly Ibiza.
They are noisy when they are under construction.
Like others already said, she would have to visit at different hours to find out....
It really is impossible to answer as there are so many villas and who you get as a neighbour would determine the level of noise like most places.
Hello ladies! My friend is looking at moving to the Palm Jumeirah villas and I haven't been to them for years. Do you know if they're still a relatively peaceful place to live now that the hotels have opened up around the crescents? Any feedback would be very much appreciated.
Thank you so much
I have friends who live on the Crescent and they love it there although for the price they pay some of the villas are very close to each other and don't give a lot of privacy
