I've been invited to a new friend's baby shower and not quite sure what present to get her.... It's her 2nd child so I know she has most of the basics already. Any ideas that wont break the bank?

Why don't you buy gifts for the mother instead, especially as the baby hasn't been born yet! I did that for my sister, and she loved it, she had been feeling very forgotten about behind the bump! Agreed, the mum's very often get forgotten about. I got a voucher for a friend at the Pyramid's of a treatment pampering session - my friend loved it.

Thanks for your ideas ladies. I was thinking something for the baby but now I might something for the mummy instead. The photography session is a great idea but unfortunatly I don't know the other ladies going!

A maternity or a newborn photography session are very popular but can be pricy so it you know a few other ladies that are going you can maybe go together on the gift? It's something that will last for a lifetime. Good luck.
