Each to his own nscm! I guess we were ok because we really did like the Medzo food and therefore weren't bothered about going to the others. I'd agree with you about the desserts, they weren't the most inspirational ever but we still enjoyed them. helsbels - there wasn't sparkling wine on offer but the red wine and white wine being served was nice, there was also beer and cocktails.

Hi we had a lovely brunch a couple of weeks ago at the Ramada Jumeirah (brand new hotel on corner of Mina Rd and Dhiyafah). It was only AED169 - must be an introductory offer - which was fantastic value.

We are visiting Dubai end of Nov (used to live there, now in Muscat) and wondered if anyone has done The Observatory brunch lately? It was excellent when we went a couple of years back. Does the Wafi one include bubbly/sparkling wine? Cheers!

Al Murooj Rotana is our spot and we have been doing the Rotana card for 3 years running so it buy one get one free! Brunch is fab at 200AED including alcohol. I'm booked for Friday and I hope it's all set up for outside now!!

Not sure what you mean by reasonably priced but we tried the Wafi Brunch on Friday (295AED) which we thought was absolutely brilliant. You get to circulate round 4 of their restaurants. Our table was in Medzo (the Italian restaurant) and the food was so good we barely left it! You can also sit outside on the terrace. Sorry - I've just realised you wanted New Dubai, so Wafi doesn't count, but I'll leave my post up anyway in case its of use!

Also Al Marooj Rotana, we tend to go there in the winter months and sit outside, will be booking real soon.

I noticed recently the Amwaj Rotana on the Walk was advertising Friday brunch. I don't know if this is a new thing, or where it takes place, or how much it costs. So, not a lot of help, really, sorry..

The Talk at Movenpick ( JBR) 299 includes wine beer and daily cocktails. Food is good too.
