hope that someone can help me with some useful tips.
We want to give our home a new style. Maybe someone has a tip.
I am looking for a painter and we are also want to renew our bathroom (tub out, shower in).
And I would be very, very grateful, if you could give me a recommendation for landscaping garden.

you have to consider that people needs the pass to enter in AR....for this reason you have to submit to emaar all required documents. but we were lucky enough because as TOOL TIME has pass for all EMAAR/NAKHEEL residential area, we did it without problem. Also for electrictrical works we used always them : they fixed all lights in the garden and outside area. They prepared also our irrigation system, even if now we are using different gardner coming at home 3 times a week for normal garden maintenance.

Yes, you can submit in the emar office with contractor licence copy. We did it some times back with a company and they subcontract to MERRIT, we submit MERRIT trade License copy and our tenancy contract copy .

Hi there - I've friends that for renovations to bathrooms have used a company called Inspired. the website is www.inspired-dubai.com - they're really great and the prices are suprisingly good - hope this helps! Theres also a company called Merrit (www.merritdubai.com) who have been around a bit longer - They do kitchen's as well :-) hope this helps!

before alterations, we got approval from Emaar ( of course you have to pay...)it was easy... I should ask my husband if for some jobs we got also DM approval then we used Tool Time for alterations and renovations. we had very nice paint in our bedroom ( like venetian plaster) and sponge paint in living. If you wish you can ask them for the quotation so you can have some idea. I was using 800 88 toll free number

We used MAB Contractors for painting recently - very good job and very reasonable. I would be interested to hear if anyone has a type 16 (Mirador, La Collecion, Terranova) and has made structural changes to their villa? We are thinking of doing some alterations but not sure how easy it will be to get EMAAR permission. <em>edited by ladyloo on 31/07/2011</em>

Hi Kiaa, Sorry to Hi-jack your thread, we are also looking to renovate in the ranches.. We had Tip top painters round a few days ago and they did a excellent job. Arrived on time and were very careful with all of our things. Would love to hear about any companies for landscaping as we are looking to put in a deck, bbq area, raised seating area and plunge pool. If anyone has done the following would love to hear what you did and who you used. Also need to replace some windows and sliding doors.. it's proving difficult to find anyone.. TIA

I would also reccomend Tip Top Painters. I would do a trip to dragonmart if you want to save some money on the bathroom, they have lots of stuff there for much cheaper....
