We lived on the 14th floor of one of the Shams buildings - not sea facing BUT WOW what a noise especially at the weekends. like previously mentioned the super-duper pr*cks are out with there super-duper loud cars and harley type motor bikes. When we stayed there there was one biker that ear-splittingly revved around 10pm every night.... having siad that this was a year ago and he may have moved on by now!
We love living in JBR Rimal 5. We haven't heard the call to prayer from inside our home, only when we are outside walking. I feel it is yet another piece of the JBR beauty.
Sometimes it can be a bit noisy but, nothing we lose sleep over. I don't notice it being all too loud after 10pm... however, on the weekend nights you can hear the beefed up, show-offs in their over horse-powered extra exhausted "modes of transportation".
There is place for everyone in Dubai. For now, JBR is the perfect place for us and we are very happy.
My friend who has a little one lives in Rimal 4 and i have never heard the mosque nor has she mentioned the noise. She is on one of the high floors tho ( 20th i think)
that is very kind of you, alismum, i am looking forward to your feedback;)
also if you don't mind me asking another question, is the fact that you cannot open the windows an issue for you, in term of ventilating the apt?
Thanks again a lot for your help,
thanks alismum, the apt I saw is on the 5th floor, rimal 5. do you think the mosque is going to be an issue for our sleep (well, our little one's)? Thanks in advance, and any other suggestions form other ladies this morning?
TIA
