Has anyone eaten at the Rivington Grill in the Madinat? Looking to go somewhere fairly smart but not OTT for a nice meal this evening, many thanks

Hope you enjoy your meal but have to say the last time we went we were a bit dissapointed. Location is superb and it is lovely to sit on the balcony but the prices are very high for what you get. Our steaks were both pretty bland and mine was not cooked as requested. For grill we expected a little better. Service we found was OK, nothing special and they dealt with our issue well but overall I found it very pricey. however last night I ate at the Aquarium at the creek golf course, above the Board walk and that was fab. Nice location, great food with reasonable prices. you can get a lovely 3 courses for under 200 dhs and at the Rivington I think you would be looking much nearer 400 dhs. per person! Each to their own but I will not be rushing back to the Grill. The bar upstairs is fab though and has a generous happy hour :-) The brunch at the Creek golf club is one of our favourites !!

I was there last week and it was superb although we went upstairs to the bar and ordered food there. we went early so we could do the happy hour (happy 3 hours 5 pm to 8pm!!!) and the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Definitely one of my new favourite places.

The last time I went we ended up complaining about 4 times - Steak was cooked in correct, vegetable were missing, sauce was missing, no waitress to bring food to table - we could see our food sat waiting to be brought to us. In the end we got up and got our own plates of food. All this and there were only 3 other tables there. The restaurant at Souk Al Bahar is just as bad as well. Went there last week. Asked 5 times where my drinks order was!!! I really hope your experience is better than mine. And yes, the bar upstairs is great!!

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I don't eat meat but even I think the beef wellington looks amazing.

There are also vouchers in the Entertainer Book, as it is a little pricey, but the food is V good! Definitely relaxed not OTT. Outside seating is perfect at the mo, if you can't initially get an outside table, put name on list, and go next door ot Agency or upstairs to their bar.

We (me and my OH) eat here quite a lot as we really like it, especially on the terrace, however, it's very subjective, others may have a different view. We've always found the food very good and the prices reasonable, we even spent Christmas Day there :-) If you have a Sirius card you can get discount, or collect points, which is handy. I thoroughly recommend it.

Has anyone eaten at the Rivington Grill in the Madinat? Looking to go somewhere fairly smart but not OTT for a nice meal this evening, many thanks Hi - I'm looking for the same thing! I'm out with my sister tonight and just wondering where to go, about to post a thread and see if anyone has any suggestions. I've been to the Rivington Grill last September and I thought it was quite nice, bit pricey, nothing OTT special but just pretty decent. Also of course great location to move about to have drinks elsewhere. Have fun!
