Salik tag placement

I recently had my car windows done and they removed my Salik tag (that had been on there a grand total of 3 weeks :( ) and put a 3M film strip across the top of my windscreen. The 3M film shouldn't interfere with mobiles, gps etc so does anyone know if salik tags can be put on the film?
If not, has anyone put their tag anywhere else on the windscreen and have it working ok please?

I don't want to have to cut the film (I'll muck it up).

The tag works on 3m film.

That's true. The tag will work anywhere on the wind screen.

The tag will work anywhere on the windscreen, or the windows, or the rear glass. It's just recommended to put it up by the rear view mirror so that it's not in your field of view while driving.

Great, thanks for that. That's where mine will be going. :)

Bottom left from inside or outside :D Driver's side? I'd really like to shove it in a corner.

I have it at the bottom left hand corner of the windscreen along with my car park pass for work. Actually, once your car is registered for Salik, even if you don't have a tag, I believe that your number plate is registered and is scanned as you go through each Salik gate.
