Yes, this is correct.
We purchased a new gas range and had to have SEWA engineer connect. When we found it was faulty, we purchased a new one then SEWA had to disconnect and connect the new one.
Have you come across this situation where you purchased a new gas cooking range and needed someone from SEWA to come and remove the pipe from the existing appliance to the new one in the same kitchen , same flat, same meter. Iv been told that a person from the outsourced company will come and do the job and charge AED 300/- !!!!!!!!!
Is this true? but this is too much. where can i call and inquire about this. Im calling the SEWA helpline but no one is responding.
