found a medela PUMP IN STYLE ADVANCED on amazon that is selling for half the price compared to dubai

babyshop is retailing it on sale at AED 1750
and the amazon price for the same is AED 965!!

i don't have a shop&ship account as i rarely buy online... so was just wondering if i could use one of your accounts on this occasion :)

Sorry can't help with Shop & Ship. Just wanted to add that I have this pump and bought it in the US. I use it with a step down transformer and have had no problems. It also comes with a battery adapter but I found that the pump wasn't as efficient when using batteries.

Many US companies will not ship to an address outside the US or to certain countries (fraud is one fear). As for the voltage, you can buy a step down transformer fairly cheaply (under 100AED) at Carrefour, just make sure the wattage on the transformer can handle the wattage on the electrical item. You can get step down transformers with wattage capabilities as high as 1500watts not enough for hair dryers or power tools but the pump should be manageable.

thanks for the advice ladies but unfortunately the UK site only has the pump in style advanced with backpack (which i don't want... would prefer the one with the tote bag)... anyway... they are also more expensive for couriering and it won't give me much of a price advantage... if i don't get any offers i might need to look at purchasing it from babyshop while they're still on sale...
