yeah...info on sri lanka is not sufficient on net. Hikkaduwa has nice beaches and bentota too but i didn't saw any surfing.

Check out this web page: http://www.wannasurf.com/spot/Asia/Sri_Lanka/ tells you best places and times of year for surfing. I know Hikkaduwa - quite a quiet resort imo, Mirissa Beach is lovely, although I have only briefly stopped there - looked laid back, but very pretty. Koggala looked nice too - stopped there for a short time to take photos - you can see the stilt fishermen there. <em>edited by chizz on 16/07/2011</em>
