I think the phone number is missing a couple of digits for the Sana'a Kayum number...could you check? There's also a tailor right beside Hot Tomato Pizza in Al Barsha and I was going to try and check that one out too. ...Update...just went to mega stitches by the Hot Tomato Pizza...20 dhs to take in waist for pants. 40 for waist / hem combination. 100 (minimum) for stitching a new pair of pants. Held off on that (because I have to buy the fabric too..) and I just want to replicate a simple pair of linen pants that I have. Any other cost comparisons? Thanks! I have found a brilliant tailor in Al Barsha, Sana'a Kayum, Tel 3850201, oposite Lulu supermarket. Its the fisrt time for years I am overjoyed with the finished product and no need for alteration. The shop has only been open a couple of weeks and the lady who ownes the shop is happy to spend time with you and give sugestions. I will definatley go back.

Oh my sister had some trousers stitched from here and she was really happy with what the tailors did for her. They did it within 3 days and charged AED50. They are in Meena Bazaar, they are called Sage Tailors. She used Waris ( the tailors name) Let me know if you want their number :)

We use Viva Fashion on the main road on Al Satwa (black signage) - cheap, good quality and always very efficient.

I second Qassar, have been using for many years. Was there today and seems Ramvik is not just on holidays but retired. manu is still there and Ramvik's nephew, a young very personable and friendly man with good English, named Shailesh. Look for the alley way with the faded red fire hydrant/outlet between municipality and emarat station (opposite side of road).

Qasser al Anaqa in Satwa, opposite Dubai Municipality. Speak to Ramnik, 0505028069. Just remember they're closed in the afternoons, I think from 13:00-16:00.

There are many in the BUr Dubai area and several in Oud Metha are near Lamcy too. Every other shop seems to be a typing shop or tailors. :-)

Does anyone know of a good tailor in Dubai where I can have some trousers stitched. I'm not after anything expensive - just some good trousers I can wear to work. I have a problem with the ones bought in the shops where either they fit around the waist but the thighs are too tight or if they fit around the hips the stomach is too big.
