i have a ball strainer thing that you can jsut drop in your tea - i got it here but have no idea from where. l Both Lulu and Carrefour carry this. Otherwise you get small tea strainers with handles in both shops.

I am a real tea drinker and have found the best selection in the tea shop at Madinat Jumeirah Souk. They have a variety of strainers and my favourite now is 'tea bags' that you fill yourself - work a treat with green tea and chai for one!

Marks & Spencer, Home Centre or one of the kitchen gadget places on the 3rd floor at MoE.

I would imagine Crate and Barrell sell that kind of thing. Either way, looks like a trip to MOE from both these replies!!
