Michael and Asp!!! The female doctor there gave me a breast check a few months ago. it was all clear and she did recommended a mammogram in the near future. Not sure If this is covered under the health insurance thou.

Sharjah hospital for women and children will do a mammogram for free on anyone with a valid right to be here. This information came direct from the UAE's top female breast cancer surgeon at a talk by her last week at Ranches Ladies group.

And thanks Lakshmi, was that at Welcare Garhoud or Knowledge Village? And did you have to pay for a doctors consultation on top of the AED 344. I am 36 years of age but I have been told I should wait until I am 40, do you know if Welcare has this minimum age limit??

I did a half price mammogram at Welcare a couple of days ago. It cost 344 dirhams and they emailed the report to me the next day. Good service!

I wouldnt bother with the K-Lynn Pledge, I did it yesterday and rang Dubai London Clinic today and they are not taking any more bookings are they are full!!! Lcoolie can you let me know how much you were charged at Welcare and which location did you go to? mmm - that's NOT good. I took the pledge this morning and gace my voucher to my helper. I'm going to ask on the K-Lynn facebook page as they should honour all bookings made even if they go past October

I went to the welcare hopsital - offer on here as breast cancer awareness month. Half price. I just rang & booked & went along. Very easy.

K-Lynn lingerie shop is also offering vouchers this month for a FREE mammogram - just go in to take the pledge and you get a voucher - no need to buy anything. I think this is especially good for helpers so please do let yours know if you have one

I don't think you have to have a referral anywhere, you could just say annual check. I have had them done here at Allied Diagnostic in Satwa and Dubai London Clinic (Festival City or Beach Road).
