We would love to use homely but as my cat is a little terror I would be happier knowing he is in a cattery with humans there all / most of the time. Yeah please do stay away from them they are not up to standards now since loosing there manager. It's a shame though as we need some good kennels around.

I would be so upset to return to find my babies have been treated badly. Fortunately we haven't had to use a cattery, but If I did, I will keep in mind about Pet Palace. Sorry to hear your furries were in a state, poor babies.

Why dont you try Homely Petz petsitting instead? we used them for our cat, works out about the same cost, and your pet stays in their own home...

Its a pleasure ladies. I just felt I needed to let pet owners know. My dogs are still suffering and will be for a while, and as the owner won't call or answer my calls I felt I needed to take action. I'm in 2 minds still as to whether I should go away for Xmas or stay as this experience has really upset me. I've spoken to the old manager and she's so apologetic ( which is a shame as I know had she been there none of this would have happened) she's even been so kind to come visit my doggies. I really do wish I could go back in time.

Thanks for you reply. I have 1 cat and 2 dogs. And they are my babies. Sadly I have used them for a while now and The service I got before was fantasist but that was cause it was run by the manager (expat) She is no longer there now which is sad, as my animals loved her so much. The running of the kennels have been left to the owner and another lady who can't stand animals!!!! Why o why go into such a business if you don't care about animals.

Sorry to hear about your experience Dxb3 - did you look at the kennels before you put your pets there? I've also had a couple of bad experiences with some well known kennels and at the end of the day it all comes down to staff and how they're trained and whether they actually have the common sense to realise when an animal is sick or even slightly "under the weather". If you have cats I'd recommend Churchwood's Cat Hotel in Al Barsha. Fiona, the owner, is a true cat lover, she can take about 100 cats and runs it herself. She also lives on the premises so doesn't lock up at 5pm and leave the animals to some poor security guard who in all honesty wouldn't know the difference between a cat and a meercat or even care, which to me is more important than anything else. Rule of thumb! Always check the kennels out even if someone else recommends them. Good luck for Xmas! :)

I'm writing this to warn other pet owners. Do not use Pet Palace Kennels. Their service is shocking and the staff employed( only 3 staff members) have no training or knowledge on how to look after pets! My animals stayed their and when I got them back it was a sad time!!! When I spoke to the owner he didn't care amd was extremely rude. Still waiting for a call back 1 week after! Terrible service and shocking state of kennels. My furry babies will be off to a more dedicated kennels for christmas.
