So for the first time in literally years my DH will be here, so fancy going for posh/romantic dinner any ideas? Can only think of Pier Chi, wondering what the new one and only is like? Can you sit outside? anywhere else with great views or romantic settings? tia

al qasr hotels has quite a lot of restaurants...i love the view of burj al arab from magnolia (vegetarian) and specially the abra ride you take from hotel to restaurant...there are other restaurants too there. also there was one , you can google as i am not able to recall, there is exclusive dinner on beach with your private butler...booze too. edited by manubhadauria on 23/01/2012 it's Shimmers - one of my favourite places. I think the dinner with the butler is about 30k AED. 30K !! yikes

The Villa at Jumeriah Beach is nice with the Burj in the background Oh yes I have never been there, just looked it up and its closed on Tuesdays, 14th feb is a Tuesday :( Just checked out O&O Palm and 101 looks lovely out on the deck, but menu is mainly Tapas (which I'm not that keen on) the food at Zest looks good but not sure its as nice for sitting outside? Oh no, that is rubbish. It is beautiful there and the food is very nice Perhaps they may open with it being Valentines day?

Must mention to hubby about booking Valantines dinner. I will probably have to organise myself as he is abit useless when it comes to romance.

Wafi has some really nice offers at their outlets, and they're not over charging like most places will.
