If coming from Jumeirah, to get to the Gold souk, take the Shindagha tunnel ( stay in the right lane and take the first exit after you come out. Plenty of parking there. If you can't find any parking there, try the inner streets. There is usually paid parking there. Ask for directions.
The Spice souq is walkable from there. Ask as you go along ( alternatively, follow Old Baladiya Street to the end and the Spice souk should be to your right).
Take an Abra across the creek to get to the Textile souk. Walk along the creek to get to the Heritage area, Sheikh Saeed house, etc
Don't know if this is possible with kids. Might be a little chaotic but doable.
Sorry if it is confusing.

According to my trusted Lonely Planet map (and vaguely remembering from my Big Bus tour) there are at least 3 car parks near the fish market. From there you can walk to the Gold and the Spice souks.
I think there is also a metro station not too far but not sure where exactly, best check the RTA website.
IMO i wouldnt go to any souk with babies, to much people and to busy.
maybe the gold souk would be an option. Parking is next to it, near bus station (i think its fish market or gold souk station).
My mum and dad are visiting and want to visit the souks but I have never been, I've lived here for 3 years and after having 2 babies its just something I havent managed to do yet!
Please can you help me on where to go and park and opening times? We have a time gap from 8.30-12.30pm tomorrow.
TIA
