I'm a big fan of WW, but I actually used to be a LOT bigger:-). I only have positive things to say about the system, although I'm not familiar with the latest way to calculate points etc. I still use the same PointSystem as when I lost 21 kilos in 2006. Since I got my iPhone I've been using a great little app called 'iWatchr' to track my daily points. Yes, I did put on about 10-12 kilos some years ago after letting go and due to personal issues. Without the WW system I wouldn't know how to get back on track! I haven't been to any meetings since 2006 but I actually still manage to control my weight by counting points. Simply love the way it gives me the freedom to choose, add bonus points for exercise etc. A friend of mine forced me to join him back then. I'm eternally grateful for this although we did make a lot of jokes with our lack of stamina. I've learned a lot about reading nutritional info since then - some of the point values have been true shockers now and then. I don't know enough about online subscriptions, but I imagine it must be quite motivating. Good luck whatever you choose:-)

I joined about 9 weeks ago, and lost 5KG so far... I went really good the first few weeks, kept updating my points tracker daily but then thought I 'got it' didn't need to calculate points all the time...well as a result I haven't lost much in the past 5 weeks.... So am back on today, filling out the tracker and following it properly. I think if you are disciplined enough to keep your tracker updated (great Iphone app by the way but only works with UK and USA subscriptions) you will do great. I am going for another 5 KG by Xmas.... hopefully! If I reach that, I am half way to my target:cool:

I've been on it for 9 weeks now, using the online tools etc, and have lost 1 stone, 2 lbs so I'm pretty pleased. I find it gives me the motivation I need since you can see on screen what you eat and how many points you've used. It's scary how some things that you assume are pretty healthy are actually not!

You might want to take a look at a free website called SparkPeople dot com, it's excellent, better than WW imo.

I think it is fab. I did ww years and years ago and decided to try the online version recently. I think it's a great resource and a fantastic way of keeping track of what you are eating. At the end of the day, you have to be in a mental place where you are committed to losing weight, but I think if you are then it's very helpful. I lost a stone and a half on patrick holford's gi diet about a year ago but I don't believe it is sustainable, especially in Dubai, whereas I think ww is. So far with ww, I've kept that weight off and lost another half stone.

I have just joined again so hopefully will be successful! I have had success with WW before but that was when I was going to meetings and being weighed, this requires a lot more self discipline!

I'm planning to subscript again. I lost with WW a lot of weight but moving to the middle east make me fat again :-S
