My second favorite name for a girl is Maleck or Malek which is the female version of angel. The male version is malik. My first is Amirah which is what I named by DD and already mentioned.

I like Leila - which is arabic for Juliet Me too - this is DD1's name but with diff spelling! Thanks for all the suggestions ladies. Hubby likes Kalila but have heard this is a v old Arabic name, like calling a new baby Ethel or something... I also like Fairouz but also v old name. This is so hard! Nothing wrong with old names..... lots of very old names that are common still - ie,Adam, Sara etc

haha that is no good then! It is always hard I reckon, no matter what kind of name you are looking to give them. Sara is a good one, as it is universal

Need inspiration as we are out of ideas and cannot agree. Our first little girl has an Arabic name but easily translatable to English. we would like DD2 to also have a pretty Arabic name but one that is easily pronounced for when we move back to the UK. DH likes Amber but (whispers) I think it sounds like a b*tchy str*pper name........does it??? Lol I have a cousin called Amber What about Sarah :-)

My dd is called Ava, we didn't know at the time but have since been told it is of Arabic descent. I don't mind Amber....she may be a stripper but she's not bi*chy....lol
