I totally agree on comments re: the new plastic bottles by masafi, really cheap thin plastic, spills all over the place the moment you open it, and down yourself if you put the bottle to your mouth and accidentally squeeze too much, and the lid is so thin making it twice as difficult to open. My mum was visiting from Australia, and she has arthiritis in her hands, and I had to open every bottle for her. For the first time in 7 years, I've shifted to Arwa. A shame. Does anyone know if Arwa bottles are PBA free or not?

For the first time I actually ordered Masafi water online and it came on my normal delivery day! May be that's what the company wants us to do but customer service fails on to pass the message. Me too!

I was actually thinking Masafi has high sodium content.Anyone using Nestle? I use Nestle, never had a problem with delovery or leaving bottles/vouchers. Sodium is around 5, flouride 0.4 please read before you use Nestle - http://info.babymilkaction.org/nestlefree Pls stop this.

can i just add, ive been using their 1.5ltr bottles since forever since i thought the water was good and recently got a box of 12 delivered with short necks and cheaper plastic! tut! tut! Lol, i thought i was the only one who noticed this. I opened the bottle as i usually do, and water spilled out as the plastic was cheaper which means i was pressing it too hard. From now on, its Arwa or Al Ain. edited by Arch on 08/09/2013

They keep on missing us out; their lines stay "busy" for days and days - cannot get through, they missed our delivery more weeks than they didn't this Summer. When I did get through I wasn't told about any lost data.... but now it all makes sense!

Have used Masafi for over 8 years. I like the fact they use BPA free bottles and recycle them but do not reuse them. Apparently they "updated" their system 2 months ago and as I understand lost data? After chasing them like mad in June I re-registered with them with my details and weekly delivery date, still nothing happed ... then I re-registered again (soryy ma'am, we updated our system again ...) I called and called and was persistent and now everything seems back to normal with a 8.30am delivery on the dot every wednesday! Phew!

I'm pretty sure Masafi are the only company using BPA free bottles. If the bottles are re-used, then they're not BPA free. As much as the service from Masafi is RUBBISH right now, I will persevere as I do like the water, the plastic and it doesn't contain fluoride - but Nestle and other companies do!

And here I thought I was the only one! When I switched to Masafi I placed an order online. This was during Ramadan. I received an e-mail that the water will be delivered the following day between 8-4pm and that the delivery person will call me. When the delivery person called me he asked me when I will be home to deliver the water. I told him I will be home just after 4pm. He then just said no, I work until 2pm and then hung up on me! After a couple of days not receiving my water I cancelled the order and went with the company I always used. But, because I also liked their BPA free bottles I decided to give it another try. Placed the order and only received my water after a week... And since then it has been a hit and miss of whether I will receive water this week or not haha. Does anybody know of another company using BPA free bottles? Do Nestle use them?

Same issues as everyone else. We have had Masafi for 5 years, always had the same delivery day and always just left money out when we needed new coupon book. Many times they have been no show. As usual left money for new coupon book, Masafi man rang bell and told us we had to preorder coupon book, he refused to leave us any water as we had no coupons left, we even said we would pay for water with cash but he still refused to leave any water!! Now been told can t have delivery on that day and we have to pre order coupon book, they also want to know how many bottles we want each week in advance. Talk about service going backwards.

then...thanks god..I'm not the only one having problems! After years of weekly delivering water on Thursdays in AR, we moved to Palm Jumeirah and for almost 1,5 years no problems! but since last month...nightmare!!! they said we have to call every week if we want water !!!!???? :( they are not answering the 8005455...I can not call thousand of time just to order water ...wasting my time spending hours waiting for their reply! :( So many times without water...I've been in touch by email & fax...no reply!!! When I finally spoke to them the girl told me they were coming to deliver my water ..It was Thursday!!! I got water on Saturday... which kind of assistance and customer service they have :( :( my husband went to buy bottles of water in the supermarket. I like this water because is not "drinking water" but " mineral water" and because of BPA-free plastic they use. But - definitively - if they don't do something to improve the service, I'll be forced to call somebody else.

I am with you all! Since returning to Dubai last month after holidays, we have not managed to get any water from Masafi...remembering to get it from the supermarket is a drag...and those short necks and cheaper plastic....nasty....I am now an Oasis customer as of yesterday and welcome the efficient and professional service.

One of the main reasons I use Masafi is because I prefer the BPA-free plastic they use - that's also why they're a little more expensive. If they use cheaper plastic, they'll lose quite a lot of their customer base, I think.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one at my wits end. I've gone to their website and placed an order online. Let's see what happens. I hope it doesn't get lost in the system... They used to have really good customer service. I'm really curious to know what's going on.

I have signed in just to add to this post. Masafi are driving me nuts. Having been a satisfied customer for nearly 4 years, they now seem to have gone down the pan. Always came on a Wed pm (AR) and even knocked if I'd forgotten to leave the empties out. Suddenly stopped coming. Rang to ask why and was told the were "upgrading" their system. Also asked them to tell the delivery guy I needed a new coupon book - she said it would be 24 hrs before it went through the system, so not in time for next delivery. What happened to the quick phone call they used to give him? Then had a call from them saying I needed to have a standing order - I said I couldn't because it varies each week. So really have no idea if I'll get any tomorrow or not. Someone is obviously bored at head office or trying to impress, trouble is, THE CUSTOMERS DON'T LIKE IT. Oh wait, when did what customers want ever matter........ Am really ready to jack them in. edited by Sue R on 03/09/2013

After weeks of chasing them and running out of water every so often, I also switched to Nestle. The ordering and delivery were far superior, so I am not going back to Masafi. They haven't even bothered to come and pick up the empty bottles!

I also had problems with Masafi for weeks, not able to communicate with them, water not being delivered. Finally threw in the towel and switched to Nestle. So far I am very happy with Nestle. Something serious must be happening with Masafi. There are a lot of unhappy customers. They should at least let people know what is going on and not leave you hanging with no water.

I'm having lots of problems with them too they used to always come every wednesday and about a month ago just stopped, every week I have to call them and complain they say no problem all fixed they will be there next Wednesday but never show up. Last week I couldn't even get through to them on the phone at all and emails bounced back as mailbox full! Useless. I ordered online, it came the next day, I guess this is the only reliable way to do it for now.

Yeah, I order the water for the office and about a month or so ago, it became a big ordeal with Masafi. Just a massive wild goose chase with multiple numbers that no-one would answer, and even when they would, completely unhelpful and never resulted in any water delivery after a good 2 weeks of trying. We now order water from Jeema water, try 04 333 5566.

Is anyone else finding it absolutely impossible to reach Masafi on 8005455? I always used to call them on that number to arrange my water delivery. Went away for the holidays, came back 2 weeks ago and cannot get anyone one the phone at all. I have called their corporate office and they are very unhelpful - they just gave me other numbers to call but no one answers those numbers either. Is anyone else having issues with their Masafi water delivery?
