any ideas where i might find one in dubai?
or perhaps there are some weather nerds here who can give me some advice on which would be the best buy :)

DH has an Oregon Scientific too.....I bought it for him a few years ago pre-Dubai days so not sure where you would get it here but he told me what he wanted and I bought the one nearest in price to what I could afford lol He seems to like it and I understand they have a good name. SOrry can't help with a local purchase but I did get his online and shipping was reasonable. :)
