lol. That's what I called it as a baby ;-)
Johnsons baby oil with chamomile worked great for my Babies. But they never had it bad to start with.
My 2 1/2 month girl also had it and I tried the old wife's tale and it worked wonders! Take baby oil and rub it on her head, then take a baby comb and comb her hair. I was shocked to see how easily it came off. Do it just before you give her a bath. I applied the baby oil (gently rubbing it all over her head), left it for approx. 5 min and then started combing the hair. After her bath it was all gone.
All my 5 children had it and treated them with baby oil but left it on overnight. It actually lifted the Cradle Cap and I just used by fingers to lift off then washed as normal. Worked a treat :)

If there's no irritation, I leave it. If it's getting thick and there's any redness on the skin, I rub some olive oil on it then gently wash off at the next bath. :)
same here... although when it did get thick on DD, her hair came out when it came off! Since then I just leave it. She still has a bit left (4 years old!) but I treat it with Head & Shoulders... it is, after all, of the same kind of thing as dandruff.
And same again...my 4yr old still has patches of it so we've just started with Head & Shoulders.
